The ghost of Railroad engineer, William
Brown, a hero who died while saving hundreds of lives by managing to uncouple
the engine from the pasenger cars, just before the engine plowed into
the bay, still paces around the cemetery, agitated that some dunderhead
had thrown the wrong switch, causing his demise. Also, the ghost of young
12 year old May Woolsey, who had died of encephalitis in 1879, still plays
in the cemetery and at her old house on E Street.
